wake me up with the morning sun
warm my heart
set fire to my stomach
remind me the brightness of living today
because yesterday had taken that away
don't toss me out like a boomerang

the sun will burn my skin
and the sand will blind my eyes
wrinkles form and i'll spit in the wind

the hunch belies my strength
